Happy Wedding to Jun and Earth
Finally it was over, you guys are now married and thank God for that. It was a wedding that you both really worked hard and did a personal leg work and i appreciate you for doing so. You may feel that nobody seems to be around, but i know you already proved it wrong, families and friends are all there cheering and giving felicities for you both.
Everything was beautiful, and that includes your gown that troubles you at one time while it was made all the way from manila without you personally checking the coutorier from time to time, yet it excites you the most, thank to another talented couterier from our very own pagadian for making it more elegant and fitting on your big body, ha ha and the “bolero”? who would have thought about it? it made you slimmer, ain;t it? of course the make-up, you are more beautiful..(but i still believe alfie to be the best, hehe), the twig thing in the hall, except for the “you know who” thing, let’s forget and forgive her anyway..ha ha
And my gown? never an exemption of the beauty tha surrounds that affair, my new and fresh hairdo that would let Donna your sister blurt with poise, “Rihanna, is that chu?”ha ha” love my new hair though, but missing my long hair much.
and of course, of course, the handsome man..who could ever forget his beauty that is truly stunning that day until evening? wow…is he a gay? ha ha not really just a vanidoso perhaps, but he is one of the handsomest acquaintances ive laid eyes on, and guess what, he is my partner as “veil SPonsor” ha ha i should have hugged him ha ha kidding!!!! well, i knew though that he is taken, ha ha, guess what? he was the one who did the ceremonial toast…and i told him how to do it..ha ha i can’t stop laughing he is really so cute..by the way he is a lieutenant from the Philippine Navy, not gonna tell you his name though, i might spoil him.
anyway, back to jun and earth, congrats, it was a tiring but wonderful affair,
i wish you both the best for your marriage. be a good partner to each other, okey?
enjoy boracay….
..how serious love has taken me?
honestly, i haven’t created a blog that speaks about love or has something to do with it. I’ve been reading blogs, and just realized one thing, most often than not, blogs of my friends, or acquaintances surely talk about love. it could be how love made them the happiest person in the world, how love changed their lives for the better while some would speak about how love hurt their hearts without notice. and it has always been like that, they say so. so what can i say? that question led me to inquire to myself, why haven’t i created a single love blog? does it mean that i don’t love because i am not sharing anything that matters my heart, may it be happiest or the most painful feeling or just that, there is nothing to share? i would like to say, i don’t know why at all.
It’s 1:30 in the dawn when iam writing this blog, (i’m supposed to finish a wedding invitation that a couple-to-be asked me to make) when i feel worn out and needed a short stop, then i wander around the net, found two blogs from two interesting fellas, well the bloggers are persons who interest me anyway, i mean, my friends. read along and was carried away by how they speak their emotions to the world. and to think these are not just emotions, but sad emotions, experiences that made them cry and became a little bit hopeless about love, although at the end of the day, would find happiness again, and would love to continue loving and perhaps continue hurting.
then i realized, what’s wrong with being hurt that caused by the heart? true enough that heart should only do the loving and loving alone, we thought love to be best thing on earth, and we believe that of course. it is only when you love where you can imagine the unimaginable, its only love can make our world go round. but we never thought at all that heart could be also the reason why we got hurt. but for some reason, we blame our heart and love most of the time.
then i figured out, there’s so much i can say and have to say about how love inspires me to live, how love played so hard in my life, how love became controllable but still being happy at one time. i finally realized how good it is to speak about love, no matter, whatever, however the story might be. love after all teaches us how to be lovable, that only when we learn how to love, that we can be loved. and we only have to love when we want to be loved in return, i hope this makes sense.
how bout you, how serious love has taken you?
How about Pampanga
this little guys are scaring me to death, they’re rocking the boat…the location is Apalit, Pampanga
and now, i’m loving every moment in the muddy water…
THE ARZOBIZPO
this is the House of the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Pampanga located in San Fernando.
Laguna - a pleasure to embrace!
“Let me take you to Laguna…”
This is the interior of an old church in Paete, Laguna, the carving capital of the country where famous and world class carvings are made.
with my companions ely of palawan and gani of nueva ecija, seems like three is a crowd, ain’t it? hmmm, anyway our background is the grand and fantastic altar of the 400 years old church in Paete.
While this is the exterior of the church, looks really old compared to the interior which is actually renovated
and this is what i told u about Paete, the carvings capital, see what i mean?
behind me is a magnificently and intricately wood carving, a “mananaggal” or a flying scary woman especially during nighttime intends to scare or eat people, well that is actually a part of so many Philippine folklore, nonetheless, the carvings are truly impressive
Laguna remained a religious place which most of Catholicism which obviously carves images of saints just like what is shown in the photo
another wonderful carving creations
In a cool and serene KAPE KESADA. it is a quaint coffee shop-cum-art gallery that showcases the artworks of local painters. The brainchild of dentist and art aficionado Dr. Nilo Vadecantos, kape Kesada is Paete’s first art gallery. Inside the gallery are his precious collections he acquired from his travels anywhere in the world. TRuly a rustic ambience you feel with Kape Kesada, worth visiting.
an oil canvass as our background
then a fine dining in an exotic dining restaurant in Kalayaan, Laguna. How can eating meat of “sawa” (snake) became a fine dining? hmmm try it yourself.
this is what i told you about, THE MEAT OF SAWA, looks delicious, ain’t it? Lemme give you an idea of how it tastes, it doesn’t taste like chicken or pork at all, it’s tastes is unusual, distinct but it’s exotically delicious. My point is, if you don’t know it’s actually a sawa meat, you’ll never mind the taste. Savor it yourself like what we did, and you will see how meats vary from tastes, its truly distinct,ewwww..plus the thorns…
…to eat or not to eat the sawa meat, that is the question..
…and the answer is yes,
a store at the foot of the garden restaurant where you can buy pasalubong for home,
a man-made cave inside the garden restaurant, at the top of it are two big cages where giant snakes lie asleep or awake, i happened to know the one snake named “Samantha”, a tamed one which you can actually cuddle during daytime, we went to the restaurant past 6pm, so we weren’t able to get the chance of cuddling big really big “Samantha”
the exotic dining i told you about….
…in a different angle
and whose gonna miss Lumban, Laguna, the embroidery capital of the Philippines, where famous embroiderers were invited inside and outside the country just to demonstrate embroidery, a very intricate talent to behold, only in Lumban
the making…
..how bout the famous “KESONG PUTI” made up of Carabao’s milk?..hmmm yummy, another Lumban’s pride.
and whose gonna miss PAGSANJAN, with the famous falls hidden by nature?
you thought i’m jailed? no, not really, i just happened to bump a kababayan from Mindanao, a peace keeping officer assigned in Laguna, and how he wants us to talk more but time won’t allow? he says he misses home so much (Mindanao)
…glow in the dark
You’ve seen only a little of what Laguna is. A place of rich heritage and preserved cultures other places in the Philippines should follow. Wanna see more of Laguna, then go, byahe na!
“He held my hands, so i held his…”
“My first trip alone in the METROPOLIS at the same time my First date in 2009″
January 13th, Ely, John and i went to UCANews Editorial Office in Quezon City to pay a visit to Ms. Nj, Sir Dave, Ate Astra, Ching, and everybody in the office. The plan was, the three of us will meet in Gateway Mall in Cubao and from there we eventually move forward katipunan via LRT, it was the first plan though. But all of a sudden, the adventurous nature of a sagi came crashing through hahaha. What i did was, verify, verify and verify the exact location of the office and how to get there “DELIBERATELY ALONE”, of course i am a neophyte in the metropolis, stayed only 6 days and was able to find my ways all by myself, haha . anyway, after transferring two stations in the expressway, i finally arrived Katipunan Stop, (by the way, i am all the way from Taft Avenue, Malate) found my way walking to a parking area which has motorcycles to bring me door-to-door to the office where i’m going. What caught my eye is the Monastery known as Sta. CLara Monastery, i went inside, prayed hard, thanked God for the courage and the guts He gave me everyday of my life, thanked Him for always keeping me safe, driven and positive that everything will turn out so well and that there is nothing we should be worried about at all..my out of harm’s way escapades manifest His loving mercy and compassion for me, hehe thanks to my Best Buddy ever. And without so much adu, there i was pressing the doorbell of our editorial office laughing aloud and really aloud that even made security guards of the adjacent office blurted out if “am i alright”, (ohhh i hope they dint think im a crazy girl haha), anyway, as i am getting near, i supposed, i texted the two guys im supposed to be with, Ely and John, (sorry john hahaha) that i am almost there. Perhaps, John was pissed off by the incident, he might have thought, i’m making a fool out of him, since Ely, wiser than i am was actually still at the house of his Sister in Tondo, while its only John who waited so long in Cubao, hahaha (sorry talaga John) anyway, there i go, INSIDE OUR OFFICE, met our editor and everyone in the office including sir Dave Veihland, the then Philippine Editor of UCANews before maam nj the wife, and ate shiela. An hour later, John arrived, shared his “waiting so long” to everyone in the office and just laughed at it, hmmm i felt relief the moment he laughed, and Ely?hmmmmm we waited 3 hours before he came, karma you think? haha
Part two of the story is that we went to Eastwood City in Libis,
savored those unusual mexican foods set before us while sipping Margarita, (thanks for the treat maam nj), i can’t say if its delicious or what, can’t even figure out what i was eating, hehehe.
Then Richard Poon came to entertain everyone.
He is one singer you’ll never feel out of place, he is simply agreeable, far from what i thought of him as insufferable. Guess what? we have a photo together, we held hands for a long time…haha like 3 minutes i guess..wow! it was cool, then i assumed, Richard Poon is my first 2009 romantic date (assuming). Hope to date more of Richard Poon in the time ahead, haha. A lot of things happened that night and one of it is one i will treasure forever…,you’ll never know what is it though……
